About the Journal
Homo Internationalis, founded in 2025, is an independent digital journal dedicated to the study of International Relations. It was established by young researchers from this field and from related disciplines such as History and Political Science. Its aim is to build a bridge between academic analysis and public dissemination, bringing academia closer to younger audiences while offering readers an in-depth understanding of the historical and geopolitical processes shaping the present.
Current Issue
This inaugural issue brings together a range of contributions addressing some of the key contemporary debates in international law, geopolitics, and international relations. The articles examine the tension between legal norms and practice in the crime of genocide; the structure and exports of the Spanish arms industry; and the evolution of Russian nuclear deterrence under coercive escalation dynamics. The issue also explores the impact of the Hungarian radical right on multilateralism and the European Union’s strategic autonomy in the face of the constraints posed by institutional veto powers. The edition is rounded out by a study of Uzbekistan’s soft power and an analysis of the regulatory challenges posed by contracts with influencers within the framework of international trade.
